When it comes to your team you want to figure out what strategies will be more convenient for them to do. The problem is a lot of us who been in the home business industry for a while want our new recruits to use strategies that aren’t as user-friendly. Let’s see what strategies your first time recruits can do in order to start recruiting…
When you’re able to start recruiting people into your business you start to feel fulfilled and more confident. Although starting and growing your own home business was something you really wanted to do, there were still some doubts in your capabilities.
But now since you’re starting to recruit more and more people into your business, you can really see that this venture is really working. The more people that you talk to about your business, the more that they can feel the confidence inside of you. This is what really attracts the people that come into your business.
Now for all of us that recruit, we know our job now is to show our new recruits the ropes. We give them the numbers to call for 3 ways and training, the tools to use to point prospects to, and the strategies that are being used for duplication.
But let’s talk about those strategies for duplication.
There’s a lot of us that who have used all of these different strategies, and probably still are, but one thing we need to ask ourselves is that are these strategies even user-friendly. Would a new recruit who has never had a home business find it easy to do or more tedious and time consuming?
This is the problem that a lot of us come across. We come across these different strategies and expect our new recruits to learn and use them. Now is that feasible for them? Maybe within the next couple of months, but for now, they focus is how to recruit people and what do you say to them.
So What Doesn’t Duplicate Well?
We ask ourselves what can the new members do to start recruiting? I’ve concluded that it really depends on the new recruit. Some people are more incline to do more technical strategies while others find it more easy to do the more simple strategies.
For example, when I first started my home business I came from an IT (Information Technology) background. When it comes to making websites, doing blogging, setting up autoresponders, etc…, I was a little more comfortable in doing so versus someone without the background.
So when you’re telling your recruits to build a fan page with all of these different types links, and point them to a capture page so they can get into your marketing funnel, they may just throw in the towel. There’s a lot of people that just aren’t really the comfortable and that interested in doing the really techie stuff. They just want to do something simple and less time consuming to learn.
So word of advice is to not point them to other strategies like Pay Per Click, Banner Ads, Pay Per View, and Blogging at first. Let them get more comfortable within the industry at first and then you may throw out these strategies just so they have more options.
I do believe that everyone should start off by doing the simplified strategies of sharing tools and talking to people more so than doing the more advanced strategies. This is a way for them to building up their communication and people skills which they can incorporate into the more technical skills.
You want to be able to learn more about your market so when you’re communicating with them, they can really feel you out. The greatest, yet simplest skill you can develop is your communication skills. Being able to fill in the blanks or in other words convey the message to their liking will definitely pique their interest and make them want to look even further in your offer.
I believe the first skill that your recruits should learn is to learn how to ask great, empowering questions to qualify prospects. I’ve been to many meetings and this skill set seems to not be emphasized enough. This is something I wished I have learned before I even went out to recruit. This will definitely help those recruits build more success and confidence in what they do.
