Have you ever been told to fail your way to success? This sounds like an oxymoron but have you seen the truth behind it?
There’s a saying that goes something like “If you haven’t failed in anything, then you haven’t tried anything new”. When push comes to shove, in order to succeed, you have to fail.
Because this is what I call “learning from the streets”. Yes book knowledge is great, and it gives you some foundation, but real knowledge comes from experience. You have to get your hands dirty in order to really move forward.
But with some people, getting their hands dirty can be a challenge. It can take a toll on their journey to the point to where they start blaming people and things for their failures instead of taking personal responsibility. When this is done, their business venture either comes to a halt or they quit altogether.
But what thing you can keep in mind is that there are unlimited ways for you to come out of those dirty situations. You just have to focus your mind on the lesson and how you can do better.
When it comes down to it, we all have to take responsibility for our success, no matter how many pitfalls there are. A lot of us have heard this, time and time again, but for some reason, we still like to point the finger. It can be hard not to do, but you want to ask yourself if pointing the finger going to help you move forward in your home business?
Ten Times Out Of Ten, No!
You want to take full responsibility on your next move to get out of that slump. Here are some questions you can ask yourself to get your mind back on track:
What Hasn’t Been Working?
The first thing you’re going to be focused on is your failures. So why not take advantage of this. List what your failures and why it hasn’t been working. Get a full understanding of what’s been holding you back from moving forward.
Once you have this understanding, you want to ask yourself is it possible to get out of this situation? Of course, the answer is going to be yes because you already see that there are others that are finding success within your niche.
What Other Options Do You Have?
Those people that quit will only focus on the failures, while those that succeed will turn their focus on other options. You have an unlimited supply of options when it comes to your home business. So why even think about limiting yourself and only thinking of why you should quit? Stay open and you’ll find your answers.
Do Any Of The Options Resonate With You?
Now you don’t want to overwhelm yourself with strategies to use all at once. Figure out which one resonates with you the most and put it to use.
Keep in mind that there isn’t just one way to grow your business. You may run into old skool leaders that may say that their way is the only way to be successful. If you hear this, you may want to find another leader. They may like calling cold leads, but yet you hate it with a passion, so why force it on yourself?
What Action Steps Have You Taken?
Once you find a great strategy, you want to figure out what action steps you have to take in order to get it going. I know some of us find a strategy but don’t put it to use. Why waste your time? Be like Nike and just do it. Be open to failure so you can learn how to correct it as you go along. Again this is real knowledge!
Are You Getting Any Results You Want?
Has the strategy pass the test? Are you getting the results you want? Results is your goal and you want to figure out how to maintain those results. And, not to be negative, you want to figure out what you can do just in case those results stop coming. This is why it’s so important to know your Marketing Stats.
What Can You Do To Make Improvements?
Now lets say that you’re getting decent results every month. Now you want to know how can you up those results? What can you do to get better results. How can you turn $1 into $10, and that into $100, and that into $1000, and that into $10,000? Again, this is why it’s so important to keep looking at your Marketing Stats and what you have to do to get more targeted traffic and leads to make more sales.
