Many of us want to promote our opportunity, product or services upfront. We want to make sales as fast as possible, but there’s a fallacy in this strategy. Let’s see what’s the fallacy is and execute a strategy that will enable us to get better results.
When we get excited about an opportunity, product or service, what do we usually do? We want to tell everyone and their mom, brother and sister about it.
Some of them can feel our excitement and want to invest, while we sound very “pitchy” to others. But either way it goes we really want to get the word out.
When it comes to online marketing, it’s a little different.
Because everyone is trying to get the word out about what they invested in.
This can pose a bit of a problem.
Everyone is talk, but no one is really listening. Everyone believes that what they have is all that and a bag of chips. This is the reason why only a small percentage of people are making money.
Now speaking of this small minority people, a lot us want to know what exactly their doing, because obviously they’re doing something totally different from the majority of people in the home business industry.
And the one thing that this minority people do is that they promote on the front-end what they’re target market wants. That Is any free training, ebooks, webinars, etc…
Keep in mind, it’s FREE!
FREE is everyone’s favorite word.
And if you promote something that you’re give for free, then you’re obviously going to get leads.
What type of training do people really want?
What are a lot of people struggling with?
- They want training in generating traffic
- They want to know how generate leads
- They want to know what is their target market
- They want to know how to make sales
- And they want to know how to create a Marketing Funnel
These 5 things are probably the 5 common subjects people in the home business industry really want to know, especially if they’re marketing online.
But in order to build a big list in your email autoresponder, it would be wise to set up a capture on your website or blog catering to those that are focused on these subjects. Yes I know, there’s a lot of people promoting these training, but if you’re promoting value and have the training to back you up, then you will stand out. Especially if the majority of your promotion is value.
You want to sell the sizzle and not the steak!
Can you start promote your opportunity, products, or services once they opt into your list?
You can, and as a matter of fact, you may even get a sale or two.
But here’s the thing to remember. People usually don’t buy until between the 4th to 7th email. Case study shows.
But in the meantime, the majority of your emails that you broadcast to your list, should contain a lot of valuable information that will help them, whether they’re involved in something or not.
Because they will see you as someone that really cares about their success, instead of someone that’s just trying to make money off of them. This is how you build a lot of trust with your list.
And instead of telling them how great your product is, because everyone’s product is great, but share a story of how you benefited from the product, and how others have too. Including 3rd party validation in your email helps a lot, meaning share the great things other people have said about the product.
Once all this is established, you’re on your way!
