How many blueprints are there and how many have they worked for you? Although those promoting them claimed that they work, but do they actually work for everyone? Let’s see if these blueprints are really as helpful as they say they are….
“All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.” ~ Brian Tracy
How many of you are following a step by step blueprint or system that’s working quite well for you? Has it help you get the results that you want from the start or did it take a lot of time and much effort to start getting those results?
Many of you are on the journey of creating a successful home business and have encountered many of the different tools and strategies to help you. Many of you went through so many tools and strategies that you can probably write a couple of books on them.
But as time progress and we become more frustrated month after month and year after year, a lot of us start to put the blame on these strategies and the people that promote them. Now I have to ask you, is it really their fault?
Now I can understand if you’re not getting your affiliate checks or if you happen to get involved in a ponzi scheme without knowing. Then maybe you can blame those people at the top.
But other than that, we definitely need to take the responsibility of honing our own skills with the aid of those blueprints.
Is Your Mindset Ready For The Blueprints?
There are a lot of blueprints that are there to aid you in order to get you going. They provide you with the foundational steps so that you can get on the fight foot, take the bull by the horn and run with it!
The problem is that a lot of people are too dependent to the point that they don’t put in any work into their businesses. A friend of mine told me something she heard from a preacher which says The laziest people in the world are the hardest working.
When I first heard this statement, I chuckled to myself. If you didn’t understand this statement, it basically says that people want a specific routine so that they don’t have to think. They want to work hard but yet be mindless about it.
I know a lot of people like this, and I definitely can’t leave myself out of it. There were many times I just wanted to know a specific routine so that I don’t have to think about it.
But when it comes to your business your mindset is definitely proportional to your success. If you haven’t already, check out the post How The Mindset Is Proportional To Success where I give you 7 tips that are in the mindset of people who are successful at what they do.
If You’re Going To Tackle A Blueprint….
If you’re going to use a blueprint, and go through steps to really get you going, there is a certain way to embrace it. Just going through the steps would almost be the equivalent to not going through the steps at all.
You definitely want to keep your mind open to the possibilities making each step really count. I myself use MLSP which is an online attraction marketing system to help me with leads and sales. Although it has a step by step system to help me progress, I would always go back to see how I can improve or what I’ve missed.
The key is to put enough value and energy into whatever program you’re involved with so that you can get the same in return. It all starts with your mind. From my findings, the harder I work, the more I want to think of different ways to make the job of marketing online easier!
These blueprints are there to really help you find who you really are as a home business entrepreneur in the online marketing world. These blueprints will either make you or break you. It’s really up to you if you’re going to really make them work for you!
Now It’s Your Turn!
Are you using any online marketing blueprints? How have you improve in online marketing as a result of using them? Do you feel this is a great place for newbies to start? Please share your comments below and share this post with your friends. I look forward to reading them!

Sherman –
I have never used any type of blueprint. This has certainly got me interested.
The Brian Tracy quote is great and really a motivator. Setting goals is so vital. But it takes those daily steps to make sure that your goal is accomplished for sure. Maybe that is what a blueprint is? I am beginning to see now.
I try my best to focus on having joy during the process while keeping the goal in sight. It sure makes for an exciting life.
I look forward to reading more from you!
Thank You,

Hey Karen,
Actually I was referring to all the online marketing systems out there. They’re design to help you get going on your online marketing journey. The problem is that a lot of people get involved, thinking these systems will automatically help them become successful. I use an online marketing system and it takes a bit of effort to really get going.

Sherman, I am with Karen on this, I also do not have a online marketing blueprint, I do however have bucket loads of dreams. My issue is putting the dreams into action, which is where a marketing blueprint can help, right?
Hey Bethany,
A blueprint can definitely help you get going to fulfill those dreams, but you have to remember that it’s up to you to really make it work.

Hey Karen,
There are different online systems out there that have a blueprint to help guide people to building their business online. The problem is they put too much responsibility on the system and not making the system work for them. This is why it’s so important to grow into the person that attracts success rather than letting a system do this.
I actually use an online system myself, but I’ve been taking responsibility for my own success. This is why I stress that you have to make the system work for you instead of the other way around. You will definitely go farther in you business with this mentality! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Sherman,
I hope you are doing well, This post is 100% the truth for most work from home style businesses. Without the proper mindset and understanding of the blueprint then you cannot possibly master it. The truth is that it is not that it may not work it is that it just may take someone longer to learn how to apply things than it could for others.
Hey Jason,
Mindset is everything when it comes down to it. You can have the blueprint but if you don’t have the mindset to make it work for you, then it’s just a sitting duck! No matter how long it takes, as long as you’re serious and do what you have to do to get to higher levels, then it’ll all work out! Thanks for your insight!

Hey Sherman,
I know exactly what you mean about people following the blueprint but not doing anything else. I mean I know for me it has to be trial and error like some things may work for you where they don’t for me. If you just follow one suggestion then you may miss out on what that system can really do for you.
It’s all a learning process and there to help us tweak it and let us grow. I’ve used MLSP in the past so I know what you’re talking about plus I’ve been through some training programs that I had to kind of “make my own” as well.

Hey Adrienne,
There are so many blueprints out there, but yet a lot of unsuccessful people just blame the blueprint instead of taking responsibility. This is why they have been unsuccessful. A friend of mind shared a quote with me which says “The laziest people in the world are the hardest working”…If you think about it, these people just want a routine that’s already been set up so that they don’t have to think.
In the past I fell into this category. I just wanted the answers so that I can just go ahead and do it and get it done. It doesn’t always work like this, especially in business or else everyone would be successful. This is why you have to “make it your own”, or else you’ll be a sitting duck!
Thanks for your comment Adrienne!
