If you want to be a great leader, you want to be someone that is really aligned with yourself. When you are always connected with yourself, you become like a magnet for success. Let’s look at some of what a leader knows and does to get to this point….
When it comes to having a home business, leadership is a hot topic. There are many of us that are afraid of this word. Why? Because of out of fear. We don’t want to take responsibility for other people’s success. We don’t want people to be 100% depended by others, because if we fail then we lose all respect.
Then no one will want to follow us. We would be this lonely, forgotten leader who has failed miserably at trying to achieve success.
But have you notice that when superstar entertainers fail and make stupid mistakes, they still have a pretty strong fan base? Why is that?
What if the leaders of your companies make mistakes? Would you accept their apology, or would you judge by criticizing how imperfect they are and look into another company or leader?
Here’s the thing, when leaders make “mistakes” it really doesn’t matter. Why? Because they bounce back and keep moving forward. They know who they are, where they want to go, how to get there, what to do, and stick with a plan despite of all the obstacles that get in their way. Being aligned with who you really are overrides everything else.
How can you be a magnet of your own success? Well, for one you want to give people a reason why they want to follow you. When you know yourself and are comfortable with yourself, then you can go beyond the limitations that you were conditioned to live within.
No matter what people have said in the past, present, or will in the future, whenever you are aligned with yourself, you will get on the journey, making daily movements toward what other people deemed as impossible for you. And what’s even better is that you will enjoy it.
Once other’s who have the same goals see that you mean serious business and that you’re enjoying what you’re doing, they will tend to start following you. You see it all the time in Home Business whether you’re monetizing your blog, in network marketing or affiliate marketing. Once you get to this point, you will start to reap the rewards.
But what do you need to ask yourself in order to start this journey?
Do You Know Your Passion?
Figuring out your passion determines your purpose. You want to know what really excites you? What do you think about on a daily basis? When someone brings up the subject of your passion, can you talk about it all day non-stop?
Know this is important to start and maintain your journey. Why embark on a journey that you really don’t have passion about but yet you’re doing it because it’s the right thing to do? The journey won’t last too long. This is why it’s important to figure out something that you love doing even if it takes a lifetime to accomplish doing it.
Are You Determined?
Do you have set in your mind that you’re going to focus on your passions? Despite the many obstacles that will get in your way you will be too determined to get to your goal.
Here’s an oxymoron for you… You want to be hard-headed and open-minded at the same time. You’re peers may tell you that it would be impossible, but you already have set in your mind that you’re going to do it anyways and at the same time you’re going to only be receptive to any advice that will get you closer to your goals.
Are You Consistent?
Having a daily routine that will get to closer is a must. If you’re goal is to lose wait and get toned, you want a daily exercise routine and a particular diet. Each day you quit, you set yourself one day back. You want to stay in production by being consistent, practicing the right things to do to make perfect.
Are You A Visionary?
If you have no vision then it will be a challenge for you to stay determined and consistent. You want to be able to see in your mind the end result. Some people put it on a vision board while others like to put their visions in a daily journal. But whatever the case may be you want to build your belief by seeing it within yourself. It also helps to notice the change from when you first started to the results you’re currently seeing.
How Are You Branding Yourself?
What reputation are you building to be attractive to others? When other’s see how passionate, determined, consistent, and how much of a visionary you are, they will get curious. Especially if your passion is aligned with their passions. You may be the reason why they will go for their passion. They may not want to do it alone or they may have no vision of the results, but seeing that you’re embarking on the same journey will help to instill confidence in themselves.
What Are You Giving?
What type of value are you giving to others? You’re instilling confidence in others by going after your own passions and knowing what to do in order to achieve it. The value that you give to others, will definitely create a balance. Not only will they have confidence in themselves but also they will have confidence in you which will give them all the reason to follow you.
Showing them the different ways to achieve their goals is value within itself. When it comes to your errors, you figure out how to correct them and move forward. Just from these experiences you will be able to teach what to do and what not to do. Doing this makes you more attractive resulting more followers, and when they become leaders in their own right, then this will determine that you’re on the right path.
