If you want to start making money, you want to start creating value to the market. How many times have you heard this? Now are you more focus on this or are you more focus on making money? Let’s see why it’s more beneficial to be more focused on teaching value more so than focusing on making money…
The value is where the money is.
But what do most of us do. We skip the value and go straight to thinking about making the money. As a matter of fact, with this type of thinking, what we considered as something of “value” should be considered valuable to others we expose.
Now let’s be real…
Unless you have an entrepreneurial mindset, or aiming to have an entrepreneurial mindset, then what you considered value to your prospects will not be considered value to them. Period.
If you’re more focused on why they should buy from you or join you more so than their problems and pointing to the answers to their problems, then you’re not going to attract money consistently at all.
You may ask yourself, why would you invest in something that you see no value in? That wouldn’t make sense.
When it comes to your prospects and leads, you want to put yourself in their shoes. See where they’re coming from. Be more concern with their wants and needs instead of your own.
3 Steps To Making Yourself Into A Valuable Magnet
When it comes to attracting money, you want to learn how to attract people. When people find you valuable, then that’s where the money comes in.
But how do you make yourself valuable?
Some time ago, I read one of Ray Higdons blog which talks about how you can make yourself valuable. He came up with the Value Wheel and their 3 parts to it.
I’m going to make it into 3 steps. This is what you want to do over and over again. The more you do this, the more you become a people magnet, the more targeted the people you attract, the more money will come your way. Here are the 3 steps:
Invest – You want to invest your money and time in some type of training. It could be via conferences, webinars, blogs, videos, etc.. As long as it’s something that’s of value of you and help you grow then you’re right on track
Learn – Don’t just take notes, but put it into practice. Learn the ups and down of whatever strategies, tools, software you used. Experience is the best teach
Teach – You just became someone of value when you’re able to teach what you learn to others. Now you can set up conferences, webinars, blogs, videos, etc.. for others to learn. Once you build that trust, then you can sell your offer on the back end.
This is an important question. Well to start off, teach those things that you were struggling with and the answers you came across. Usually you will be more passionate about this because of an epiphany or the feeling you get when you overcome a long struggle. Here are some ideas:

Teach How To Approach Prospects – NLP, Art of Persuasion
Teach How To Follow Up On Prospects – NLP, Building Rapport, Problem Solving
Teach Free Strategies – Writing Blog Posts, Making Video Blogs, SEO
You always want to keep in mind that when there are problems, there are answers. Your first step should always be finding out what the problem is. This is the concern. When your prospects see how concern you are with their problems, you build the trust. When they can trust you, they’ll do business with you. Once you earn that trust, you provide the answers. With these answers you become an important value to them.
