How many of you are so quick to tell your prospects why they should do network marketing? After you tell them, do they seem enthused to join? Most likely not, but lets see how we can draw out the interest of everyone we approach.
What is the one thing that really turn people off?
Telling people what to do and how to think.
This is just how we are all wired. We like to get the credit for making decisions for ourselves. We want to be held responsible for all the right things that happen to us.
We have this thing that “People can’t tell us what to do?” mentality. If we want to join a particular company, we want to join only for our reasons.
How many times have you exposed someone to your business, tell them all the benefits that they can achieve, but yet get a bunch of objections and not sponsor them?
It’s happen to the majority of us.
And we wonder why they don’t see what we see?
Look at all the benefits your company has to offer. What is it about the company that they don’t see for themselves?
Well like I mentioned before, it’s not about the company. It’s about you telling them the benefits instead of letting them see for themselves.
Now, don’t get me wrong, you may get lucky and tell them the right thing, but why take a chance like that where you can get them to tell you?
You’ll be 100% more accurate and plus it will pique their interest.
So instead of telling them their primary motivating factor of joining, why not try to uncover their primary motivating factor.

This list I got from Allan Pease’s book “Questions Are The Answers” and if you know one of the reasons here on the list is your primary motivating factor for joining the network marketing business you’re in.
But one thing to remember is that not everyone you expose your business to will have the same primary motivating factor for joining network marketing as yours. This is why this list will come in handy for you.
To find out, you may want to ask “Why do you think people start a network marketing home business?” If they say No, you can respond “let me show you” and show them the list, if they say yes, let them talk. As soon as they’re finish, ask them “Anything Else?”, when they say “No”, you tell them “let me show you” and show them the list.
