Do you ever feel like your prospects is “making you dance” in front of them with all the questions they ask you? You may feel like you have to prove how right your company is for them. Let’s see why you don’t have to dance around to impress your prospects about your opportunity…
Us network marketers do not get the respect that we deserve. The majority of our closest peers do not take the risk of chasing after our dreams.
We can at least get some credit for believing we can achieve what most people deemed as impossible. It’s takes a lot of courage to go after the unknown.
But as far as respect, we feel that we have to degrade ourselves by “overexaggerating” of how great our opportunities are. I’ve done it and many people who have approach me has done it to me.
This can definitely be a huge problem.
You have to ask yourself, if they really want to change their lives and their looking for an avenue to take, then why do we have to try to convince them that our opportunity would be the best for them?
If anything we can just present them to the info. and let them convince themselves, right?
It depends on the questions you ask them.
These questions have to be the type of questions that will make them think. The type of questions that will ask themselves why they want to get involved.
Honestly, a lot of people who are looking to start a home business or just started a home business really do not have a real, empowering “why”. They just want to know how to make more money.
If they don’t have a powerful why and really don’t have interest in the company, products, or services, then do you think they’re going to do well? So why convince someone and prove how much money then can make if they don’t have an interest in the tool you present them with?
It’s just a waste of time!
The first rule of thumb when it comes to marketing is figuring out who your target market is. If Uncle Joe talks about making more money but never put in the effort to go out and look for different ways to make money, would he be a good prospect for you?
No, not at all!
But if Cousin Sam is really putting a lot of effort in finding ways to make extra money, especially a home business, then definitely he’s a great prospect.
Now would you have to prove how great your company is? No, he’ll figure it out himself with the information you give him.
It’s pretty simple when it’s done like this.
If you two are really close knit, and he likes the products of your company, then more than likely he’ll join under you.
The fact of the matter is that when it comes to target marketing, whether you’re doing online or offline marketing, you don’t have to put in the extra work to try to convince them.
And if someone try to make you dance by asking you all these questions. Stop! Find out if they’re the type of person that’s going to just sit there and twiddle their fingers while you do all the work. If they are, disqualify them and go to the next person! You will be a less stressed, happier person.
Now It’s Your Turn!
