Probably the one most important thing that is crippling your network marketing home business is not having a marketing budget. If you really want people to see what you and your business is all about, then it’s a must that you have some type of budget geared towards that.
Yes, word of mouth marketing is great, and even referral marketing is great, but if anything, you want to create a web of marketing.
From what I’ve seen in the past years, the best type of marketing has some type of funnel the prospects go through. This saves a lot of time because now you have a laser targeted market you can really focus on.
Whether you’re doing online or offline marketing, it benefits your business. Being able to leverage some type of marketing system which usually have some type of marketing funnel incorporated within it takes a lot of pressure off of you.
I’ve been to many network marketing meetings and conferences, and the one thing they don’t stress a lot of us having a marketing budget. If you’re “average” person is getting involved with network marketing, then this is one of the subjects that should be emphasized within each training.
If big businesses and small businesses use some type of marketing to spread the word about themselves, then why not do it with network marketing home businesses?
It’s great that we have access to the internet which makes marketing a lot easier and a lot cheaper to do. In fact, as long as you have internet, you can use social media and do marketing for free. The only problem with doing it for free is that it can be expensive, meaning you have to use a lot of your time to do it. And even then, it can become very tedious.
So why not be smart about it and use the concept of attraction marketing or direct response marketing in order to pass the word.
Now many of you do not want to invest any more money into your business. What you can get for free or even for a very cheap price, you’ll be open to invest in.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some expensive marketing tools and software, but there are a lot of affordable ones that are of high quality!
I find that usually those that do not invest any type of marketing for their home business, are usually the ones that stay stuck in a rut. Their business may budge a little, but it stays within that limitation.
But depending how fast you want you your business to grow will determine what tools you ought to invest in. If you’re looking for your business to grow within a year, then it’s best to have a marketing budget of about $250/month. Again, this is my opinion and this is what I spent per month using a couple of strategies.
What Online And Offline Strategies Can You Use?
Again depending on what you want to spend will determine what strategies you want to use. These different strategies will get you a lot faster results than the majority of your free strategies.
If you want to go the Online Marketing Route, so far in my opinion the best strategies are using Pay Per Click and Solo Ads. With just these two strategies I started getting results within a day.
A great offline strategy that I use were Bandit Signs. I ordered 25 bandit signs and set them up around town. It took a couple of days for people to notice them, but I was getting results about every other day. It is recommended to by 100 bandit signs and set them pretty close within each other.
With strategies like these you can get leads everyday. Imagine if you used them all at the same time. You can get over 20 leads a day. Yes, it is possible. No Joke! This is what having a Marketing Budget can lead you to!
