The hardest thing for a lot of us network marketers is to get our prospects to budge or make a decision. We get to the point of convincing, then begging, and have the outlook that we’re struggling in our business to them. Let’s see what we can do to correct this…
We always want to really make a great impression to our prospects, don’t we? As network marketers we want to show the incentives, the money, the celebrities in our business, and so on and so forth.
To each and one of us, our company and it’s compensation plan is the best in the network marketing industry. Can’t nothing compare and your prospects would be a fool to not join.
Let me ask you this. Do you feel that you’re repelling your prospects while you’re doing all the talking?
You feel like you’re saying all the right things you think they want to hear but on the contrary you’re not making a strong connection with them.
Your prospects told you that they were looking for a company, but yet they’re not giving you any type of positive feedback.
So what gives?
I tell you what gives.
You’re not giving them a chance to talk
And in turn they don’t make any type of decision or move whether they want to join you or not.
What do you do?
We all like control, at least we want to feel like we’re in control of our situation. Having that control gives you a sense of power over yourself. No one can direct your life but you.
But sometimes that’s not always the case. For example, your job. You have to ask to go on vacation, ask for a raise, and sometimes ask to even go to the bathroom as if you were in grade school.
Now as a network marketer, what if you had that same power in deciding whether you want your prospect to join you or not. Well, in a lot of cases you do.
If you can give your prospects the feeling that you just don’t work with anybody and they have to meet a certain criteria in order for them to work with you, then you will see a change in action.
If you were an employer looking to hire employees, you will definitely have a criteria that potential prospects have to meet. You will ask them certain questions, see how they answer it, and at the end of the interview, you will let them know when you come to a decision whether they were hired or not.
Giving your prospects the same appeal will save you a lot of time, a lot of headaches and allow you to attract more qualified people to be a part of your team.
And when it’s time for them to make a decision, or move, you can definitely give them a certain time period for them to do so, or you’ll take the opportunity away from them.
Now It’s Your Turn
