Are You Looking For Another Way To Get More Leads?

  • Sharebar

One of the best ways to attract leads is to teach what you learned

“You are a living magnet. What you attract into your life is in harmony with your dominant thoughts.”
Brian Tracy, Law of Attraction

When do you think you can apply teaching knowledge?

A lot of you may think you have to put in a couple of years or maybe  you have to get some type of certification or degree in order to show people how to market, which is definitely not so.

As long as you’re learning and applying what you learn, you can definitely share the knowledge no matter if you’re a 5 year network marketing veteran or a 3 month old network marketing newbie.

It’s true that a lot of marketers that put in time can now find it easy to sponsor 3, 4, or 5 people a month in their business, but keep in mind that they put in a LOT OF TIME and BUILT A LOT OF RELATIONSHIPS to get to that point.

Now how do beginners get the piece of the pie?

My suggestion is, if you’re a beginner, you’re main focus for the first 3 months is to build as many relationships as possible with your target market.

Adding 10, 20, or if possible 30 people a day to your friendlist on social media sites during that time is crucial.

At the same time, you want to pick a strategy and relentlessly listen to trainings, catching webinars and read blog posts as much as possible.

We all have busy lives, and for a lot of us, we find it hard to make it to a lot of trainings, but the great thing about the internet is that the majority of them are recorded for you to listen to or watch at a convenient time.

Another great thing about the internet is that it’s made it very convenient for us network marketers to BRAND OURSELVES.

To all of the veterans out there, the word branding, sounds cliche, and everywhere you turn, someone has a blog post about BRANDING.

But the fact of the matter is that we all know that it’s very powerful and if done right, will enable you to attract  many leads, and eventually result in sponsoring many people.

Now for all of the newbie network marketers, BRANDING is another way of building a great reputation or self-image.

This is why committing yourself to personal development is so vital for your success.

If you haven’t already, check out my post entitled:

WHY WOULD YOU FOCUS ON YOUR MINDSET TO FUEL YOUR SUCCESS?

So let me ask you:

What can you do each day in order to attract people to you?

Well one way is to become of value to people.

This is where both your networking skills and marketing skills will come into play.

From all of the trainings and your experiences you are becoming knowledgeable whether you’re a newbie or a veteran, and you may have the answers to many of the questions that come up.

If you can answer some of the questions that a lot of people are asking then you would start to attract people and get leads right?

So where do you find these people who need answers? Well you can join MLM social media groups and tribes, but one website that I do recommend is FOCUS.COM

It’s one way that allows you to brand yourself as an “expert”.

Within the site, there are 9 industries to choose from, but in our case we would chose the marketing industry.

There you can answer common marketing questions about setting up blogs, email campaigns, how to set up capture pages, prospecting, etc…

Also, there are times that we have questions that need to be answered. Within the site you can ask away, and when someone answers your questions, an email will be automatically sent to you.

So whether you’re a veteran or a new person, as long as you are always learning, applying, and sharing you will definitely be a prospect magnet, especially with sites like FOCUS.COM

TO YOUR SUCCESS!!!

    Hi Sherman,

Very powerful post! The best strategy, even for beginners, is to learn, apply and then teach. Even if you are brand spanking new to this business you probably know more than the person you are sponsoring.

And absolutely, add new people to your network on a daily basis. This is very powerful as each one of those people probably knows at least 250 people that you now have access to.

    Network, network, network!

    Great stuff!

Hi Sherman – I had not heard about Focus either, so will also check it out, thank you. This is great advice for anyone new to Network Marketing and in my opinion building relationships and getting in the right mindset for business is absolutely essential for success and so many people new to the industry dismiss this as not important, or worse are not even introduced to it at all. Great info Sherman.

I had heard about Focus.com but have not had time to really dive into that site. May have to do that now and really find out more how it can possibly benefit what I’m involved in. So thanks for that reminder.

Again, appreciate you outlining these steps. Very helpful indeed.

    Hi Sherman,
I like your post bro!Great points here:generating leads and building relationships. These are 2 crucial processes in every online business.Agree with you about the starting period:at that time a lot of work needs to be put in.Adding friends is great but we have to pay attention who we add:people with the same interests, people who want to build a business. Thus,I think is necessary to have a look on their profiles first. Also, blog commenting is an effective method to attract people to your blog.If you constantly comment omn 10 or 20 blogs ,it’s obvious that those people with come on your blog as well.Good friends and potential customers too..that’s the beauty of commenting:)Let’s not forget backlinks ,higher rankings etc.

Never heard of focus.com but from your description it worth a test. Thanks for sharing.

    Have a super day,
    Radu

Excellent advice, Sherman. Building a good relationship with your target market is the first step indeed. I remember a topic way back in college about corporate social responsibility. Doing some responsible acts can bring you closer to your target market’s heart.
